Introducing Compulsory Call-Out Charges

Today, we are announcing the introduction of compulsory call-out charges for our prospective and existing customers. While existing customers under warranty terms are excluded from call-out charges, all other customers will pay a maximum fee of 70,000 Naira for Lagos mainland and 120,0000 Naira for Lagos Island environments depending on system size.

Call-out charges are targeted at faulty systems that are off-warranty and systems not installed by Yield Energy. Customers with expired warranties can purchased extended warranty certificates from us. Please speak to your sales representative for additional details. This charges includes all clients with installations below 15KVA systems.

Site inspections , consultations and analysing faulty systems are classified as working hours and have to be accounted for. With the rising number for prospective and existing clients having consultations and site analysis done for free while ending up awarding jobs to other companies is a major concern for Yield Energy and our expectations.

Giving customers information they need on faulty systems or new installations comes with careful anaylsis and expert examination from our engineers. Most of the time, a simple pricing quote is no difference from a system design. It’s very easy for customers to have us analyse prospective sites and end up choosing another installer to carry out the job itself. With this, working hours and expert consultations are lost, giving us a shortfall of income. All new customers will now pay for site-analysis irrespective of the system size. Prices will depend on scope of job, size and electrical schematics required for the job. Kemi Omotosho; Head, Installation and Operations.

Yield Energy engages in the best of fair and open-market prices alongside our products and products sourced from other industry participants. We also refrain from absurd prices and quotations.

We continue to look forward in satisfying each and everyone of our clients.

Thanks.
